Current helper practice

Are any companies "still" using manned helpers? I'm not aware of any.

I think that current practice is to add in front of the road power, and assign the road crew to the helper.

This keeps the dedicated helpers on the front where they can be plucked off by hostlers.

Watch for the MU cables, open window, and heads.
