Up here in the inner SF Bay Area, it is completely overcast.
And the Moon will cover 74% of the Sun here -- in about
30 minutes. Mama Nature is not exactly cooperating up here.
Rats! I was all ready with the holes-in-paper thing, but....
no sunlight -- yet. Rats! Yeah, I knew this was almost
certain to happen here. Watching live coverage on the web.

Next total eclipse viewable from US will be April 9, 2024.

Go to YouTube and search for eclipse webcams. The New York Times
has a good one. (I was hoping someone ion the path of totality
where it was clear would live webcast the shadow of the Moon
racing towards them -- at more than 1,600 mph!! That would be
awesome to see.
