As life long Santa Rosa resident nothing is affordable. That term means apartments and condo's. Rent has gotten so out of control here now that's it's actually cheaper to buy a house than rent. At one time that spot of land was being discussed for a minor league baseball stadium. We had the Crushers in Rohnert Park as an indepentant league team years ago. Would have been a cool idea as a downtown stadium with SMART having the station right there.
