If your delay out of the originating station is so late, that you could have taxiied riders to LAX, gotten them through security and onto a flight, and they could have arrived at their destination before the train leaves its originating station, something is seriously wrong.
Heck for many of the riders, they could have gotten to their destination via bus before the train left.
At least they'll get to see a little bit of the California coastline before it gets dark. Too bad none of them paid $97 for their ticket to Seattle during the peak travel season.
