So it wasn't just the Trucking Companies that used fleabag dumps for their layover personnel ??? I recall The El Rancho ( AKA El Roach-o ) in Sacramento, complete with Murphy Beds and moving spots on the floors and counter. Just turn on the light and the show was better than the dancing chicken at the fair !!! Also nowhere nearby to eat either. I only stayed there once, due to the Days Inn near Espee Sacramento Shops being booked up. The next time I was sent there, I found another place and my Terminal Manager back - billed Sacramento Terminal for the room.
