Yes wing assemblies came from the AVCO division of Lockheed in Nashville. Doors came from Japan. Same cars were used to ship wing assemblies on the C-5 to Marietta GA from Watts-Willowbrook plant in CA. At one time Lockheed had a 250,000 employees in CA not anymore.
