You can't sell what you don't own. They were only a contracted operator on the Texas State, as they are on most of their operations. The only lines Iowa Pacific now owns after selling off the valuable assets to cover losses and play choo-choo are the San Luis & Rio Grande, Mount Hood, and Chicago Terminal (and they only own the nearly-dormant Goose Island trackage). Anything of value with a strong freight traffic base is already gone.
