Hmmm ...

Well, I emailed a similar suggestion to David Curlee 8 or 9 days ago. I have not received any response from him. So, its possible that he does not desire any additional moderators - or - perhaps he doesn't see me as a suitable moderator.

I offered to participate as a volunteer moderator either alone, or as part of a group of volunteer moderators (2-3). I suspect that it wouldn't be difficult to find a small group.

Its not that I want to be King of AP, I'd be happy if someone / anyone was to delete the troll posts. In my opinion, the level of troll posts would significantly decline once it was clear that they would be deleted relatively quickly.

In years past, David would block IP address from abusive posters. But with the rise of mobile phones/devices, lots of IP addresses change too frequently for that process to be effective anymore, IMO.

So somebody needs to moderate posts, but I don't care who that may be.
