Tier 4 GEVO's sound like hell

I had the opportunity to fit some railfaning in on a work trip to La Grande recently. Got to see a couple trains up around Motanic. First time I have heard a Tier 4 unit really working. They sound terrible! Like a vacuum cleaner with rocks tumbling around inside it. Sad days ahead for railroading because I know the EmD 1010's just make a bunch of whooshing roar too, although from what I gather the medium speed 20 cylinders in the newer passenger motors sound pretty cool based on some videos I have seen in the UK.

Lo, the days of the unmuffled FDL and 20-645E are gone!
