New, New, New .. Tacoma Passenger Train update

As you may know, all passenger trains will be routed off the Pt Defiance section of the Seattle Sub in a few weeks. All passenger trains will use the new Lakewood sub (Tacoma to Nisqually). Along with the new double track bridge (replacing the historic Milwaukee S-Curve trestle and now with new Sounder Cab Cars.

If all goes on plan, the double track bridge will be opened for full business next Monday (currently used as a single track bridge) and come December 18th, views of Sunsets along the south Puget Sound from a Cascades train (or Starlight) will be history.

You'll have to settle for Sunsets like this one!!

I'll try to post a link to recent project update photos shortly.
