especially on here. Wow.....
Were you, perchance, referring to what I posted
this evening on RYPN?
BTW -- as was pointed out over there, real life is
awfully boring (which is why ALL "reality" TV shows
are scrpted), and finding rails and those who worked
in the RR industry who are also good storytellers is not
easy. But, nevertheless, I still think railfan clubs
should have tried to get such guys to speak at their meetings,
after talking to them beforehand to see if any of them were
good storytellers. It is also true that the very best stories
are the ones that no one dares to tell -- because they involve
breaking or at least bending the rules, and people would get
in trouble if such stories were told in public, at least as
long as all involved are still alive.
