One of the fundamental problems with Hyperloop is its capacity. When you multiply the vehicle passenger capacity by the number of vehicles per hour you get about 1/3 the capacity of a track.

Another obvious problem is what do you do to get the people out if something goes wrong? Imagine everything comes safely to a stop with no injuries. Now you have a few dozen vehicles in a steel vacuum tube spaced evenly over a few hundred miles. What next?
