Not through Coeur d'Alene itself (all tracks in that city are gone) but eight miles to the northwest through Coeur d'Alene Junction, out on the Rathdrum Prairie, and right behind my house here on the northern edge of Post Falls.

There are also occasional loose loads of Canadian potash brought south on manifests for local delivery to fertilizer plants such as Interstate, ID, and also unit trains comprised largely of CP, Soo, and Canadian grain pool hoppers which look like typical grain trains but are actually carrying potash to either Little Mountain, UT, or Longview, WA. Don't know how frequently these run anymore, but one such potash move came through here early last month.
