To further expand on what Bob2 wrote, the Santa Monica Airline passed about a block south of the intersection of Pico and Sepulveda, and the east leg of the Home Junction wye passed actually through or immediately adjacent to the intersection. The Soldiers Home branch ran along the west side of Sepulveda northwest toward the Home.

However, this was freight service only, so I wouldn't expect a stop to have been at that location.

Passenger service to the Soldiers Home was provided by a separate branch off of the San Vicente line, entering from the west.

I'm looking at USGS maps, Sawtelle 1925 and 1934. Also, I grew up in Santa Monica, a few miles away, and remember the location pretty well.
