Two different things going on there. The truck hunting and the end door damage are not likely related, unless the car took a hard shot that bent the bolster and also caused the rack damage; hard to know without seeing the other side of the car. Also, that rack damage is repairable. The rail car repair facility in Chehalis, WA. fixes stuff like that all the time.
