As Mr. Fisher said, getting freight cars to their destinations is very much a chess game; the moves may be a bit fewer in number per train and less complex than in the past, but the number of trains certainly isn't decreasing and the entire process still requires experienced and fairly smart individuals to keep things going as smoothly as possible (and to solve problems quickly as they arise).
