ATSF used Baldwin DT-6-6-2000 centercabs as helpers at Ash Fork. They were equipped with light duty dynamic brakes that would control their speed when operating singly downgrade. They later served in Southern California (See photo below) and I recall ended up on the hump at Argentine.
