The August 30th Hood River (Oregon) News newspaper article says that the first passenger trains to Parkdale will begin on September 12th. My congratulations also to the MHRR. Seems to me that a whole lot of folk had their act together to get this project done when the bulk of the funding, Connect Oregon II, wasn't awarded until June 2008. Fall in the upper Hood River Valley; a GREAT trip!
