A trestle recently burned on this Watco-owned shortline. i wonder how major the damage is?

Trains magazine says it was caused by a run-away campfire.

This second article gives some background on the T&NM.

The TNM was purchased by Watco from Iowa Pacific Holdings back in 2015, along with the West Texas and Lubbock RR. They were part of IPH's "Permian Basin" holdings.
