New AM and PM trains to Santa Barbara?

I just heard an announcement that a new AM NB Surfliner will be added to Santa Barbara, and a late afternoon return trip SB will be added by Apil 2 on the local news. I can't find anything about it on line, however. Is this for real? if it is, it's about time.
