Railway Age reports that the UP is investigating the use of a Mag-Lev to transport containers
at the LA Harbor from the unload point to a rail load point speeding up the loading of well cars.
Oh and remember the post a couple months ago that we chuckled over about the new railroad north of
the Arctic Circle? News release recently about just such a railroad to be built on Baffin Island,
you guys don't suppose the Pacific Rim thing is real? Dud-duh-duh-dah-duh-duh-duh or however that
Twilight Zone theme goes.
