Current Sullivan overpass, clearance for two main tracks isn't sufficient to meet current standards. Currently it's a main and industrial spur which gets by. City of Spokane Valley is planning to go under the BNSF at Pines Road and connect to Trent Rd. in a jumbo round-a-bout. Pines Rd will repeat the mistake that was made at Argonne Rd. when they went under the BNSF instead of over the BNSF and over Trent Rd. eliminating the grade crossing and the bad Trent intersection. Trent and Argonne Rd is one of Spokane Valley's worst and most conjested intersections that they fought to preserve.
