I've worked with our policical friends, in non partisan, and partisan offices, in a bipartisan manner to support policies and legislation to implement impoved passenger rail alternatives in California. I have had opportunities to do this both as a transportation professional, and at times as a policy advisor. Therefore, I don't think, like you apparently do, that when those elected officical and agencies support our rail passenger program that they should be needlessly attacked or maligned over non issues. Since you apparently don't like politicians, it explains your inability to be effective in working with them in our system of government to acheive your stated goal? Hence, my personal choice to support more effective rail passenger advocacy organizatons, which appear to have the focus and discipline necessary to achieve their stated goals. I will leave it to others to determine the degree of hypocrisy displayed by either of us?
