Lessons learned......or not? I did a number of lessons learned classes when I was doing ITS projects, and on HOV lane planning. And, most importantly, it assumes that some folks have a learning curve, which is often a highly debatable premise.

I have been downsizing lately, with years of collected crap, to toss. And today, I found the original routes and gradient plots, of "projects that might have been", the 1983 American High Speed Rail LA to San Diego "High Speed" (140 mph. IIRC) that Carl Schurmeyer and Nat Read gave me, back when they were working on that ill fated venture, and we were all still young.

What a long strange trip it's been..............
