An additional note: the run-around on the Tracy line west of Newark was called the "Dumbarton Siding" to distinguish it from the "Santa Clara Siding" east of Newark on the line to Agnew. Undoubtedly the Dumbarton Siding was a siding at one time, but in later years it had been degraded to yard track status.
