Whoa, you guys don't want to pay to read a handful of posters dominating that forum?
You could learn a lot from the wizened insights of Trainorder's Mount Rushmore: ProAmtrak, Railcity, ACwhatever_fan, and DavidJustinLynchmob.

The two 24/7 power posters. Do the Russians pay them by the post? Or maybe their wives use Trainorders as a babysitter for motormouth retirees. Either way, the website is definitely more valuable now that the duo's ranting Renaissance Railfan has run off so many actually railroaders, correcting them with his vast and superior sideline knowledge.
But seriously, there still are good posters there that I honestly do learn from and look forward to their posts. People like TAW, mundo, and RollinB from the industry. The retired engineers and conductors like Lance. Some very insightful posters like the guy named Andrew that is a train symbol encyclopedia. There's enough meat that I continue to subscribe.
