SP 4449 Storage Question

I have been curious, but have never heard the story on how the SP 4449 ended up being stored at Union Pacific's Albina Yard in Portland right after the Freedom Train? Did SP not want it over at Brooklyn at that time? And the BN's roundhouse it was restored in, did it not have room to keep it there or did BN not want it there any longer after restoration? Just have often wondered how the UP ended up storing it for awhile at Albina?
