Fire outside Durango, CO too

A wildfire started next to US550 outside Durango yesterday, up to almost 2000 acres and hiway is closed.

Durango & Silverton bussed two trains of passengers from Silverton back to Durango. All trains have been cancelled and refunds are automatically being given. Steam operations are suspended to the 10th, they will restart sooner with diesels if they can.
