What I remember about the RFK funeral train is that Penn Central published its schedule as being exactly that of the Colonial. I guess they were planning to run the Colonial a few minutes late. As it turned out, the RFK train was hours late, causing everything behind it to run hours late. There were two fatalities--spectators hit by trains. Tragedy on top of tragedy.
