So how much of the monies spent was actually contributed by the Koch Brothers? not in dollar terms, how about in the percent of what was spent? See details here: Reason Article
It seems "Dark Money" only comes from the Right, whereas monies from the left have absolutely no ulterior motive.
Perhaps people are just tired of being lied to by Politicians.
Start with: If we build this mass transit for $x and all our problems will be solved.
Next: Oops, wait, we changed some things and also some redesign as we went so now its risen to 3 times as much, but its too late to stop as we're committed.
After it opens: Seems we miscalculated the necessary operating subsidy, so that will need to be bigger, oh and the we never mentioned the Unions and their Pension costs either.
Later: You know we really need a much bigger system in order to make this thing work, so we need to triple the size of the system
Finally: Yeah we never built maintenance expenses into this thing when it was originally funded, so we'll need another tax increase to buy new equipment and rebuild the infrastructure.
