Willowbrook Feeds is owned by Perdue, a huge corporation. Organic feed grow anywhere around the world at a cheaper price (Bulgaria one year)is shipped into Oakland in containers and trucked to Willowbrook. Other times feed grown nearby like in the Central Valley it's cheaper to truck it in .There is no special desire or contract to use rail. It's all about what makes best business sense.
