Of the Kansas City/Toronto PCCs, two were saved. One (1181, I believe) went to the Illinois Railway Museum, and the 1190 went to Rio Vista Jct. In fact, it operated the day it arrived, as soon as it was unloaded off the truck. Several years ago, however, WRM got rid of it and it went to a historical group in Kansas City. Since then, their preservation efforts were abandoned and the car is now an ice cream stand. Sad to see it leave RVJ; it was intact (albeit very worn), and it represented a class of Muni car that WRM will never have again.
