I was in Cheyenne in the summer of 1960 but I never even thought to look at the table. I just assumed the obvious. There were some big boys, challengers and northerns around but sadly all too cold and dead. Somehow the loco number 833 comes to mind but it might have been 838.

Some compensation came from the gas turbines, which you could appreciate all thru Wyoming from the paralleling route 30. They put out so much smoke you would have thought a steam locomotive.

Hey I remember the funky-ass, poor and retrograde B&O had a table in Lorain to handle the 2-8-8-4's. IIRC.
