Curiously worthies such as Kopp, Hemminger, Dahms, etc. and of course the crony consultants Bechtel and PB have many, many times tried to trash Caltrain with BART Imperial gauge.

Had they succeeded there would have been no entree into SF for Jerry's precious CAHSR. Getting into Oakland would not have been a picnic either. BART broad gauge hoovers up and colonizes forever the few available ROW corridors. It is a real issue and a real impediment. BART covets Altamont. Resolve the scandal by regauging BART.
