Thank you very, very much for alerting Ted to Rob's lack of response to your phone call and e-mails. Poor Rob -- he worked so hard on AP. I think he was just plain burned out. My son and I saw him after the 2006 Winterail, after everything was over and almost everyone else had left. To me, he looked exhausted and sad. Poor Rob.....He really gave his all to AP, and we are very fortunate that he founded it and ran it for so long. I do not blame him for wanting to "pull the pin" on it.

I, too, am very glad that this site is still going. THANK you David Curlee!! There is, as others have pointed out, info on here that exists nowhere else on the web, and I am very grateful for that. I can ignore the trolls. I really enjoy the excellent posts by people like BOB2, OldPoleBurner, John West, Carol L. Voss, synonymouse, George Andrews, SP5103, BN Oly, the great links to interesting history by HUTCH 7.62, Steve Carter's excellent photos, WebDigger's excellent and useful links to all sorts of wonderful and helpful things, Pdxrailtransit's excellent photos and posts, and others. Sorry if I left anyone out.

This site is great! Hope David keeps it going for a long, long time!
