Sound Transit - railfan opportunities

Sound Transit has added a second turnback to their Seattle-Tacoma service, mornings and evenings. An advantage for railfans not interested in rail one way and bus the other way.
Read and mark up your schedule ahead of time. Learn how to feed the fare machines on the stations platforms.

At King Street, the commuter platforms are reached via the stairways from Fourth Avenue South / King Street. Not from the Amtrak King Street Station.

The Everett line to too long for double-backs. There is very good bus service nearby.

Learn which end the power is on. The Washington / Oregon TALGOs and the Sound Transit commuters all face the same way because they are serviced in the same yard.
