an absolutely fantastic adventure......a classic example of "never say never" I will always remember meeting up with Reed Jackson (RIP), the UP conductor, in The Dalles to look at the passenger equipment...."just checking to see if there are any seats we shouldn't sell" say I, "there are NO bad seats on UP passenger cars" says Reed. then we traded a ORHF for a UP steam shirt.... it is all about supporting corporate goals, that is why the trip happened.

and yes, the two steam crews had a LOT of fun. Arlen
