Quint Street certainly looked different when I was dragging a set of doubles around there in the early 1990's. The CWX yard was at 50 Quint St.at Islais Ave. Espee's lead to Port of San Francisco ran down the middle of both streets and across 3rd St. with a NASTY sharp curve around the corner; the 89 foot COFC flats with dirty dirt containers sure did squeal around it. Espee would switch it in the afternoon, sending a tow truck down the streets first to move any errant trailers parked along the Right of Way. The CWX dock was hard against Islais Creek; we could not even drive around the back of the building. Later on it was used as a charter bus base.
