Another Metrolink Blackbox Question

Several people have inquired whether the whistle was blown for the two crossings after the train left the station. I have seen no answers yet to that question. Would the blackbox, either in the locomotive or in the cab-car at the other end of the train, have recorded whistle applications? If so, what does it indicate?
