Are you counting getting to the airport, how far in advance to do check-in, security, walking through the airport, time before boarding; and then at arrival, walking through the airport, waiting for baggage, time getting back to town, etc. etc. etc.? A 2-hour flight means at least 4-5 hours door-to-door. If rail can do it in three, you're way ahead - & probably more comfortable to boot.

Whether the plan is good or not, let us at least compare apples-to-apples.
