The location of Blue Canon on the railroad is not the same location as the air port or the place where the TV stations report from during winter storms. The railroad location is a couple of miles down a very steep narrow single lane road. The TV station vans would never get down or back up without getting stuck in heavy snow. The TV stations are up at the Blue Canyon exit on I-80 and the air port is a little west of the freeway exit and that's where the weather station is located as well. Completely different locations.
