Turning steam in Diego

folks,

Since my Chargers have the day off tommorrow, I thought I might do a little train spotting.
I have three questions:

1. Is the special steam led all private car train from Los Angeles still expected to arrive at Old Town station in San Diego at noon?

2. Is the reason it is arriving at Old Town because it will be too long to fit in the San Diego station tracks?

3. Will the train hold one of the mains at Old Town while the engines continue to CP Ash station downtown, then reverse to the Miramar Road wye to turn?
