Looked a lot different back in those days.

I read an article a while back with an accompanying photograph of Seattle back in the same era which spoke about hard times. The photo was of a billboard quoting something along the lines of "The last person leaving Seattle please turn of the lights"

It's hard to imagine how that could be possible with all of the coffee houses, Amazon campuses, Whole Foods stores and Costco warehouses in Seattle. Oh and pricy real estate too.

I did recognize the Tacoma Union Station though. It's a beautiful piece of architecture, i'm glad it survived the 70's!
