Probably keep his job. Anyone with experience who will show up for work, doesn't mind the lifestyle, and can actually stay off their damn phone when running a train or make a coupling is about as much as you can ask for these days. Most people applying for and getting the shortline jobs these days almost always can't say "Yes" to the third and fourth points I mention, and either quit or get fired. People just don't seem to want to do physical work anymore. Might miss something on Snapface.
