The Sierra Railroad dinner train is indeed suspended, I seem to remember Napa Valley leased the equipment for a year. The new ownership at the Wine Train has some major expansion plans and needed the equipment. They have also used from time to time the ex-NS GP38-2 that showed up on the NWP a year or so ago on some trains.

I seem to remember hearing the natural gas conversion on the one unit ended up being a failure, but that could be wrong. I have heard they are having a lot of trouble getting wheels for the Alcos, and the last I knew they were only one or two wheel replacements away from having to put motorless wheelsets under some of those units.

Corrections and additions always welcome.
