Kettle Falls International Railway

Effective December 17, 2018, Progressive Rail Inc. will assume the lease of the BNSF owned portion of the KFR based out of Kettle Falls, WA, taking over from Omnitrax. The new name of the railroad will be the St. Paul and Pacific Northwest Railway. Negotiations are still underway as to what will become of the Omnitrax owned portion of the KFR between West Kettle Falls and Grand Forks, BC. Washout repairs in the Orient, WA area are underway. Locomotive acquisition is still a work in progress, but they will be four axle EMDs.
