I'd like to get your opinions on this web-app I wrote. It indicates when the light is best for taking railroad photographs along various sections of track by calculating where the sun is relative the orientation of the tracks. As you know, in different seasons and at different times of the day, some locations are better than others for taking photos of trains. I hope this application can grow to be useful for all of us. Right now it's just a prototype. If you do try it, you will see more interesting results if you set the application's calendar to a summer month like June. Also, the position of the sun will only be correct if your PC is set to Pacific Daylight Time. Sorry, there's still a lot of work to be done on this application. BTW, this application is open source, so if you want to take the source and improve on it, you are welcome to do so.
