I watched it for the first time. Some of the earlier railroad scenes showed Santa Fe equipment and lettering. The runaway private car scene was shot mostly between Grass Lake and the Sacramento River Canyon. It was typical Hollywood stuff of not following reality, but still fun to watch. When the runaway car comes down into Dunsmuir there is a yard tower where two towermen and a host of switchmen on the ground throw switches to avoid number of parked trains in the yard. Best part was someone called for SP 2-080 #2656 to race across the Dunsmuir turntable and catch up with the runaway car, which has dynamite strapped to it. The footage is speeded iup a lot, but the scenery is great.
