Somewhere in the great reaches of my slide colection, I have a photo of two of the Sierra Baldwins sitting in front of the ATSF building ready to head to Jamestown. They were taking the Boy Scout Special of 1970 to Jamestown and Sonora. It was run to mark the donation of Pickering's Soap Creek log camp to the BSA and renamed to Camp Pendola.

This special marked the beginning of a resurgence of passenger trains on the Sierra.

I will do what I can to find that slide but it may take quite awhile as a lot of my slides are in storage.
