So an "Adriatic" is just a 2-6-2?
The Adriatic I am familiar with was an Italian coal-burning 4 cylinder compound 1900-1930-ish
It is of interest onnacounta its cab forward arrangement pre-dated NPC 21,
taken as the 'first' cab forward by U.S. fans.
But that was in 1901, and the Adriatic had already been illustrated in the trade press- as one of the stars of the Paris Exhibition.
Bob CHurch is up-dating his cab-forward book and will undoubtedly mention the "Mucca"s.
